Larchmont Imaging proudly participates in the accreditation programs offered by the by the American College of Radiology (ACR).

These programs demonstrate to you our patients, referring physicians, insurance companies and other health care providers our true commitment to quality patient care and safety.

Each accreditation program that Larchmont participates in involves meeting stringent criteria and accepted National Standards of Care.

The programs require that personnel providing imaging services meet specific qualifications. Equipment requirements must also be met, and there must be a demonstration of ongoing Quality Assurance. Most importantly, peer experts evaluate representative images, reports, and diagnostic criteria.

With the exception of Mammography, which is required under federal law (FDA), going through this rigorous review process is voluntary.

Larchmont Imaging is currently accredited by the ACR in:

MRI (April 2009: First practice accredited in Head, Spine, Body, Musculoskeletal, Magnetic Resonance Angiography and Cardiac MRI)
